“Windtalkers” is a war film directed by John Woo, released in 2002. Set during World War II, the movie follows the story of two United States Marines assigned to protect Navajo code talkers, Native Americans who used their language as a code to transmit messages in the Pacific Theater, confounding Japanese codebreakers.
